{"id":617,"date":"2019-12-19T00:05:49","date_gmt":"2019-12-19T00:05:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groundup.cdu.edu.au\/?page_id=617"},"modified":"2021-06-11T05:06:22","modified_gmt":"2021-06-11T05:06:22","slug":"hope-for-health-monitoring-and-evaluation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/groundup.cdu.edu.au\/index.php\/hope-for-health-monitoring-and-evaluation\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope for Health: Monitoring and Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ground Up team at the Northern\nInstitute, Charles Darwin University, and researchers from the Peter Doherty Institute for Immunity and Infection, University of\nMelbourne,\nhave\nbeen engaged by Hope for Health to help them evaluate the delivery of their\nretreat for Yol\u014bu participants in Riyala, Darwin in April 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hope for Health draws on both Yol\u014bu and Western understandings of health, knowledge of foods and cooking. The Riyala retreat was the latest in a series of retreats facilitated by Hope for Health. It lasted for 14 days and was attended by a group of 30 Yol\u014bu participants, including Hope for Health Yol\u014bu board members and staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\npurpose of the research was to develop appropriate means for understanding and\nrecording Yol\u014bu experiences of the retreat, and understandings of what\nconstitutes good health and how it can be maintained.
