{"id":888,"date":"2022-08-30T09:17:07","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T09:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groundup.cdu.edu.au\/?page_id=888"},"modified":"2023-08-01T01:31:03","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T01:31:03","slug":"ntg-local-decision-making-ground-up-monitoring-and-evaluation-stage-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/groundup.cdu.edu.au\/index.php\/ntg-local-decision-making-ground-up-monitoring-and-evaluation-stage-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NTG Local Decision Making (LDM): Ground Up Monitoring and Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In 2021, the NT Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet (DCMC) engaged the Ground Up team at the Northern Institute to initiate Monitoring and Evaluation research in sites with active Local Decision Making agreements \u2013 Ngukurr, Alice Springs Town Camps, Jawoyn Region, the Groote Archipelago and Kalkaringi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ground Up research team has long-term experience working under local elder authority and with local researchers to develop processes of M&amp;E. In all sites we negotiated local M&amp;E processes with local elders and organisations, and engaged local researchers where this was possible and considered appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50 is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/groundup.cdu.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/LDM_Ground-Up-ME_Final-Report2022_Print-version.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download Final Report <\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Project: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To work with the Northern Territory Government, and with Aboriginal Elders and community members involved in LDM negotiations and transitions, to monitor and evaluate the NTG Local Decision Making policy in places where these agreements are active.
